The entire village design has been inspired by the five elements of nature. There are three cottages with two rooms each. Our rooms Vyoma, Viha, Ananta, Avani, Sumara and Shvasa are all built with earth as the primary material of construction. The thermal quality of these mud walls keep the rooms pleasantly cool. Combined with the experience of the open to air showers, your stay is truly a rustic affair.
All rooms have two attached bathing areas and two attached toilets. Each room is spacious and comfortable for up to four occupants. The basic layout of all rooms are the same. They all look out into the front garden as their view.
We believe - “you are what you eat.” This is why food is an area our team is exceptionally conscious about. Is it organic? Is it healthy? Are any animals harmed in production? Is the food waste managed? Does it go back to the earth to make compost? These are the questions we constantly ask ourselves on our quest to environmental sustainability and circularity. Some food for thought, perhaps?
For the same reason, we strive to put farm-fresh produce on the table by practising rotational organic farming yearlong. The fresh vegetation is the sweet labour of the community farming and nature care carried out every morning by the wonderful people who visit us.
The food you savour in the Earth Cafe is a wholesome, vegetarian delight. Freshly prepared by the kitchen team, it is a step closer to making you feel at home.
The Art Village shares a peaceful and comfortable coexistence with the natural surroundings. This symbiotic relationship is what nurtures us and helps us grow every day.
Designed to seamlessly interact with, and flow into each other, each corner you turn to is an experience with the outdoors.
Whether it is harvesting our grey water or waste segregation and management, we believe strongly in Earth Care.
Lovingly as we tend to our plants, we are attentive and mindful caregivers of the animals on our farm and our surroundings. As an animal friendly project, we welcome your pets to lounge and play at the Art Village.
